Flights 
Orlando has two airports – Sanford and McCoy. Sanford is North Orlando, whereas McCoy is South East. If you are travelling on a charter flight, the odds are that you will fly into Sanford. The drive time form Sanford to the villa is approx. 1 hour, whereas the drive is 25 minutes from McCoy. When you pick your vehicle up (regardless of the airport), you will end up travelling on toll roads, so take some dollars with you (depends on airport, but will cost between $2 and $6).

Rental Cars
When renting a car, try to get a company that has the cars at the airport rather than having to have a bus ride to the car depot. We have found it cheaper (but please check yourself) to prepay all insurance and taxes from within the UK, rather than pay when you arrive.
Child Seat – we have always taken our own, which the airlines have always let us take free of charge. It’s useful when the child is under two and you’ve book them there own seat to use the car seat on the plane itself, otherwise the airline will put it in the hold for you.
Say no to having a full tank of petrol in your hire car, you will pay over the odds for the fuel (they will charge you for a full tank, but how often do you return a car with zero petrol in it). Just return the car full (they will try to get you to buy the full tank by saying that they charge $4 per gallon to fill it up – there are garages within 1 mile from the airport / rental depot, so this will not be an issue)
