From January to about mid-May, Orlando's weather is mild. High temperatures range in the 70s and 80s. By the end of May clear through September, the high temperature average is in the 90s. This is also the peak rainy season, with July averaging 7.78 inches. Hurricane season, from June to the end of November, can mean large amounts of rain for the Orlando area. During the winter months, the low can dip into the 40s, so jackets are a necessity if you're planning a Christmas trip to Walt Disney World. The weather chart features temperatures in degrees Fahrenheit, and rainfall in inches.

We’ve been lots of times over the past 10 years, at different times of the year During July, August and September, there may be bad thunder storms, so please remember to pack a raincoat, as when it rains it pours, but it is usually over in minutes and the sun is back out.
During Dec and Jan it can got cold, it’s usually still sunny however. The next day it can be hot again. So don’t forget to pack your coats and fleecy tops as well as your T-shirts and swimming things. During Christmas 2003 we met several families who had to invest in new coats.
